Playa Las Tortugas is 250 kilometers from Guadalajara stadium (Estadio Akron), which is 3 hours via the new toll road. It is the closest, and perhaps the best, beach destination from Guadalajara.
There are no roads, stores or restaurants in Playa Las Tortugas. We don’t exaggerate when we say we believe it may be the most peaceful place in all of Mexico.
The Word Cup matches will be played in Guadalajara June 11, 18, 23 and 26 2026. This is an ideal time to visit Playa Las Tortugas as it is during the dry season but the weather and water is nice and warm.
Each house offers the options of a private chef and a driver to pick you up in Guadalajara. Your caretaker will provide support for any activity you wish to explore whether surfing, baby turtle release, kayaking, birdwatching, or a beach bonfire. Or even visiting a neighboring beach town like San Pancho.
