Introducing your private concierge

Each Playa Las Tortugas villa comes with Online and Onsite Concierge. From the moment you book, your concierge is there to answer any questions, reserve kayaks, hire a private chef, books a massage—whatever you like.

Your Online Concierge is available via WhatsApp at +1 619 886 5095, via email at reservations@villastortugas.com, and through the Airbnb app.

Once you arrive at Playa Las Tortugas your online concierge remains available to you, and you will meet your Onsite Concierge.

Important information about your Playa Las Tortugas stay.

  • Check-in.

    Check-in is 3 PM. Your host will meet you at your villa. If you have a late arrival we will leave the keys on the kitchen counter. Enjoy your stay!

  • Check-out.

    Check-out time is 11 AM. There are no special checkout instructions. Simply leave the villa in generaly good order.

  • Directions to Playa Las Tortugas.

    Getting to Playa Las Tortugas from the Puerto Vallarta airport or Guadalajara is straightforward, and much faster with the new toll roads! Here are directions.

  • Airport transportation.

    We offer airport transport to Playa Las Tortugas. It is US$430 round trip for up to 7 people via a Chevrolet Suburban.

  • Wifi.

    Almost every Playa Las Tortugas villa offers Starlink high-speed internet access. Ask your concierge for the password.

  • Private chef.

    Each villa has its own private chef available to prepare your meals. The cost is US$25 and US$15 per person for dinner and breakfast.

  • Drinking water.

    Every villa has a drinking water service so there is no need to bring your own bottled water. The tap water is fine for bathing and doing dishes.

  • Beach equipment.

    Your villa will have beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, and boogie-boards for you to take to the beach.

  • Baby sea turtle release.

    Don’t miss the baby sea turtles released on our beach. A 100 peso (US$5) donation per person is appreciated.

  • Kayaks.

    Kayaking the vast Playa Las Tortugas estuary is a special experience. Kayaks are available for rent. They are $25 per person per day.

  • Bonfire.

    To arrange a beach bonfire just let us know and we’ll set it up for you on the beach, along with a little paper sign with the name of your villa.

  • Massage.

    A massage right in your Playa Las Tortugas villa sets the tone for your whole trip. Learn more here. It is 1000 pesos (US $50) for an hour.

  • Surfing.

    Surf Playa Las Tortugas’ very own Punta Custodio break and have the waves to yourself. Surf and standup paddle rentals are available for $35 per day.

  • Food delivery.

    Playa Las Tortugas now has food delivery. From the local “King Kong” restaurant in Platanitos. See the menu.

  • Bioluminescence

    Each evening keep your eye on the breaking waves. You may be treated to a display of bioluminescence.

  • Stargazing

    Playa Las Tortugas has amazing stars because there is no light pollution here so the stars put on quite a display.

  • Horseback Riding

    The local rancher will bring the horses to Playa Las Tortugas and guide you on the beach. $65 per person.

  • Turtle Nesting

    During summer months join our biologist to watch mother turtles lay their eggs on in their beach nests.

  • Artisanal Tequila

    Enjoy the premium Cascahuin tequila we source from the Rosales family in the mountains behind Playa Las Tortugas.

A few things to be aware of in Playa Las Tortugas.

  • Our 9 km road.

    The Playa Las Tortugas is very rough. Please be patient, allow 35 minutes to drive, and you will be rewarded by an empty, pristine beach!

  • Bug spray.

    In the evenings, please apply bug spray when walking through the gardens. You may not even feel them bite your legs, so please take precautions.

  • Rip currents.

    When the surf is above 3 feet please be aware of rip currents. If caught in one, calmly swim parallel to shore and you will soon exit the rip.
